it;s important to try new things...

I know we've seen this picture before, but what better way to introduce myself (ha) than with something from the good ole' days...

Having said that, I've decided that maybe I need to have a blog...everyone else seems to be doing it...and well, let's face it I've always been up for what other people are doing...so here goes.  Sadly, I don't have anything exciting to post at the moment, but I'm sure that fun and exciting things are just around the corner and I'm going to want to share them with someone.  

I'm headed to the Pocono's (for those of you that don't know, Chris is originally from up there...) for the weekend today after work...and tomorrow will be my first experience with a gigantic corn maze - gotta love "small town USA..." I can't wait!! Hopefully I'll find my way out and live to tell you all about it...

 

Of course there are some of you that like to refer to me as "polly polaroid" a title I take rather seriously... :) and for you I will  try to put up some pictures that I take along the way and share with you all the ins and outs of what's going on in the fun and exciting life (ha) of one megledu...

Also...in the spirit of all things new...I decided (sort of) to get a kitten in the last few months...I keep waiting for 

her to turn into a puppy but alas, every morning I hear the telltale 'meow' that reminds me that I am now a cat lady...oh no.  Seriously though, she really is cute...and with my tiny, tiny apartment she's just the right size.  (and I'm convinced with enough treats, I can teach her how to play fetch and walk on a leash...)
